Canadians can now shop for the all-new 2027 Mercedes-Benz GLC Electric.
The online configurator for the electric SUV has opened on the Mercedes-Benz Canada website.
The all-new GLC Electric is offered alongside the fuel-burning GLC, Mercedes-Benz’s popular crossover SUV.
At launch, the GLC Electric is available as the range-topping 2027 GLC 400 4MATIC Electric, while other models will arrive later.
The GLC 400 is powered by an all-wheel-drive propulsion system with 483 hp and 590 lb.-ft. of torque.
Zero to 100 km/h is reported in 4.3 seconds.
Canadian price
The starting Canadian manufacturer’s suggested retail price of the 2027 GLC 400 Electric is $78,400. Once various fees and levies are added, the starting price comes to $84,491, according to the online configurator.
As a comparison, the gasoline-burning 2026 GLC 300 4MATIC starts at $66,541 (MSRP of $60,450).

Available MBUX Hyperscreen
The electric GLC has the largest screen available of any Mercedes-Benz vehicle yet.
The SUV can be equipped with the MBUX Hyperscreen, a single dashboard screen that measures 99.3 centimetres (39.1 inches).
The screen includes up to 11 background styles.
Powering the screen and many vehicle functions is the company’s latest AI-driven MB.OS superbrain. Mercedes-Benz said the operating system can handle complexity akin to the human brain and is capable of 254 trillion operations per second.
The MBUX Hyperscreen is an $1,800 option, but it requires the inclusion of the Exclusive Trim, which adds another $2,300 to the vehicle’s price.
The Exclusive Trim adds:
- Mercedes-Benz Iconic Grille with illuminated panel
- Front passenger display
- 64-colour LED ambient lighting
- Illuminated door sills
- Sky Control
The Hyperscreen option replaces the front passenger display of the Exclusive Trim.

Mercedes-Benz buyers can go quite wild with the options list, if they want to.
There are many interior upholstery, trim and colour options, exterior colour and appearance options and numerous features to choose from.
Here are some of the other available options:
