The Fiat 500e lost its crown as Canada’s lowest priced electric vehicle in 2026 and yet it can be had for less than any other EV on the market.
That’s because the 2026 models have arrived in Canada with a discount.
The car carried the lowest manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) in Canada for EVs in 2024 and 2025, but then Kia launched the EV4 for 2026, which undercut the 500e’s MSRP by $1,000.
Fiat Canada has not changed the 500e’s MSRP for 2026, as it still stands at $39,995, but the online configurator has just opened on the 2026 models and it already offers a discount.
The Fiat Canada website is advertising a $7,000 discount that is applied before tax for the 2026 Fiat 500e. Once you include various fees and levies, the car comes to a starting price of $35,290.
The Fiat Canada website doesn’t indicate when the discount offer ends.
The car also qualifies for Canada’s new Electric Vehicle Affordability Program, which offers a rebate of up to $5,000 for the purchase or lease of a qualifying EV.
