Mercedes-Benz Canada brought its latest S-Class up close to the raging waters of Niagara Falls at Table Rock, a spot where numerous tourists typically observe the falls.

Sure, it was nothing more than a publicity event, but a fun one none the less.

The German automaker is celebrating its 140th anniversary. The company traces its roots back to 1886.

To celebrate, Mercedes-Benz is conducting what it calls a “140 Years. 140 Places.” journey.

The journey involves taking a trio of the company’s latest S-Class cars, the company’s flagship sedan, which was updated in 2026, to 140 symbolic places across six continents.

Niagara Falls was one of those stops.

The tour will end in October 2026 in Stuttgart, Germany.

The Niagara Falls visit also marked the Canadian launch of the latest S-Class.
