Canadian drivers of Stellantis electric vehicles can now gain access to the Tesla Supercharger network.
Stellantis announced its Dodge, Jeep, Ram, Fiat and Maserati battery-electric vehicles can now access the 27,500 Tesla Superchargers in North America.
Stellantis said owners of its BEVs can access Tesla’s charging network in one of two ways.
The most common way requires owners to buy an adapter so that their vehicles with a CCS1-style port can plug into the Tesla Supercharger’s North American Charging Standard (NACS) port.
The Free2move NACS-CCS1 DC adapter is available at Stellantis dealerships and at mopar.ca.
Only Stellantis-approved adapters can be used at Tesla Superchargers.
The other option for owners is to charge at a Tesla “Magic Dock” Supercharger, which features a built-in adapter.
The new Tesla Supercharger access is available on the following vehicles:
- Dodge Charger Daytona (model years: 2024, 2025 and 2026)
- Jeep Wagoneer S (model years: 2024 and 2025)
- Jeep Recon (model year: upcoming 2026)
- Ram ProMaster EV (model years: 2024, 2025 and 2026)
- Fiat 500e (model years: 2024, 2025 and 2026)
- Maserati GranTurismo Folgore (model years: 2024, 2025 and 2026)
- Maserati GranCabrio Folgore (model years: 2024, 2025 and 2026)
- Maserati Grecale Folgore (model years: 2025 and 2026)
Additionally, the 2027 Dodge Charger Daytona will be the automaker’s first EV to come with a native NACS charge port, so it will be able to plug into Tesla Superchargers without an adapter.
The automaker also has the Free2move Charge app, which allows owners to set up an account and payment method. The app can also be used to find available Tesla Superchargers and other publicly available fast-charging stations. Future features will also be added to the app.
