The gorgeous Ferrari Amalfi grand tourer is now available in convertible form.
The Italian automaker revealed the new Amalfi Spider.
The front-mid-mounted twin-turbo 3.9-litre V8 engine produces 631 hp and 560 lb.-ft. of torque, same as in the coupe. The engine is mated to an eight-speed dual-clutch F1 transmission.
While the Ferrari Amalfi Spider has four seatbelts, the company doesn’t even call the car a 2+2 seater as those rear seats are better at holding hand bags than humans.
So, Ferrari simply calls it a 2+ seater, same as with the Amalfi coupe.
“The 2+ configuration enhances practicality, with rear seats suitable for travelling with children or increasing load capacity,” Ferrari said.

Features of the soft top
The soft top opens in 13.5 seconds and can be operated at speeds up to 60 km/h.
The top has compact packaging, which helps give the car decent luggage capacity – decent being a relative term. With the roof up, the trunk can fit 255 litres of stuff, and with the roof down, it can hold 172 litres.
The soft top utilizes acoustic and thermal insulation thanks to a five-layer fabric.

Performance figures
As is typical of convertibles, the Amalfi Spider is heavier than the coupe version, coming in with a dry weight of 1,556 kilograms versus the Amalfi’s 1,470 kilograms.
Even so, performance figures, as reported by Ferrari, are nearly on par with the coupe.
Performance figures (compared to the coupe) are as follows:
- Top speed – 320 km/h (320 km/h)
- 0-100 km/h – 3.3 seconds (3.3 seconds)
- 0-200 km/h – 9.4 seconds (9.0 seconds)
- 100-0 km/h – 30.8 metres (30.8 metres)
- 200-0 km/h – 119.5 metres (119.5 metres)
As you can see, only the zero to 200 km/h figure is slightly behind the coupe, whereas all the other metrics line up identically.
The Ferrari Amalfi Spider is launching for the 2027 model year.
