Refreshed 2027 Chrysler Pacifica arriving this summer

The made-in-Canada minivan is getting an updated exterior design, new standard features, and more interior options and technology.

The Chrysler Pacifica is getting a refresh for the 2027 model year, but customers won’t have to wait until next year to get it.

The automaker said customer ordering for the 2027 Pacifica is now open and the updated minivan should start arriving at Canadian dealerships this summer.

The Pacifica is assembled in Windsor, Ont.

The 2027 model year is getting an updated exterior design elements, new standard features, and more interior options and technology.

The new upgrades should help distinguish the Pacifica from Chrysler’s other minivan, the Grand Caravan, which is essentially an entry-level version of the Pacifica. The Grand Caravan will retain its existing appearance, for now anyway, so there should be a bit of a visual separation between the two minivan models.

“Chrysler created the minivan 43 years ago, and we fully intend to continue leading the segment we invented,” Chrysler CEO Matt McAlear said in a news release. “For the 2027 model year, Pacifica builds on the innovation and comfort our customers expect, with a refreshed exterior design, new safety and convenience features and smarter tech. And true to its legacy, the Pacifica continues to celebrate all of its innovative, award-winning features, like class-exclusive Stow ‘n Go seating in both the second and third rows, FamCAM, seven- or eight-passenger seating capability and the smart functionality that has made our Chrysler minivans a trusted member of countless families.”

What’s new

The updated design features a new fascia with vertical LED headlights and an illuminated grille with a “piano keys’ lighting signature.

The front also wears a new Chrysler wing logo.

The updated front fascia is only on the Select and above grades.

The 2027 Pacifica will also have what the automaker calls the Safety Sphere Package, which includes features such as turn signal-activated blind-spot view and a ParkSense-based camera activation for improved visibility around the vehicle.

The automaker is decoupling the Uconnect Theatre Package and the renamed Family Tech Group, so buyers will have more control over which features they want included in their purchase. Tech features include Amazon Fire TV built-in, FamCAM interior camera monitoring, audio system upgrades, additional power outlets and more.

The updated Pacifica will also have a new adjustable-height power liftgate standard across all trims.

Other changes include new wheel designs, exterior paint colours, new rear applique and wing badge, interior trim and accents and more.

Canadian pricing on the 2027 Pacifica and Grand Caravan haven’t been announced yet.
