A record number of people attended the 2026 Canadian International AutoShow in Toronto, organizers announced.
The event, which took over the Metro Toronto Concention Centre from Feb. 13 to 22, had 374,678 people go through its gates.
The previous record was set in 2024 when 371,559 people attended.
What’s more, this year’s Toronto auto show also set a record for single-day attendance when 58,232 people showed up on Saturday, Feb. 21.
The event also saw an opening-day record of 23,885 visitors.
“From comparison shopping and test-drives to debuts and super cars, plus fun activities for the whole family and a special event with Sung Kang, we’re incredibly proud of the show we put together this year and thankful to everyone that helped make it happen,” said Jason Campbell, general manager, Canadian International AutoShow, in a news release. “I believe we’ve achieved our goal to deliver a show that reflects the incredible variety within the automotive industry and give consumers a place to explore and better understand the many great choices they have.”
American actor Sung Kang, famous for his role of Han Lue in the “Fast and the Furious” film franchise, held a sneak peak of the upcoming “Drifter” movie, which he stars in and directed.
The 2027 Canadian International AutoShow is planned for Feb. 12 to 21.
