Lexus Canada has announced the prices of the 2026 ES luxury sedan.
The ES is all-new for 2026 and offers hybrid and all-electric powertrains.
The starting Canadian manufacturer’s suggested retail price for the hybrid is $59,900, while the electric version has a starting MSRP of $62,525 – a difference of $2,625. The MSRP doesn’t include various fees and levies.
The ES has been a mainstay in the Lexus lineup since the 1990 model year. Past versions were essentially slightly longer and more luxurious versions of the Toyota Camry. For 2026, the ES and Camry have gone their separate ways, with the ES riding on the automaker’s GA-K platform, which accommodates battery-electric vehicle (BEV) and hybrid-electric powertrains. It’s also the first Lexus core model to be a multi-platform vehicle.
Powertrain options
The ES is available with a single hybrid powertrain and two BEV powertrains.
ES 350h
The Lexus ES 350h models get a new hybrid-electric system that pairs a 2.5-litre gasoline engine with an integrated eAxle with a total output of 243 hp. This new powertrain, Lexus said, is more compact and lightweight than previous iterations, offering a higher battery output.
In Canada, all ES 350h models get all-wheel drive.
ES 350e
The first of the BEV powertrains is the ES 350e variety. This one offers front-wheel drive with an electric motor providing up to 221 hp.
Toyota estimates a driving range of up to 480 kilometres on a single charge.
ES 500e AWD
There’s also the more powerful ES 500e AWD, which offers a dual-motor all-wheel-drive setup with a total output of 338 hp.
The all-wheel-drive system continuously adjusts torque distribution to all four wheels based on road conditions and driving behaviour.
Toyota did not provide an estimated driving range for the ES 500e AWD.

What to expect
The 2026 Lexus ES debuts the automaker’s latest suite of active safety features, Lexus Safety System+ 4.0.
It also debuts the latest version of Lexus Interface, a multimedia and connectivity system that includes Service Connect, Safety Connect, Remote Connect, and Drive Connect. The centre display is a 14-inch touchscreen.
Executive VIP trim
The latest sedan will also offer, for the first time in Canada on an ES, the Executive VIP grade.
This trim features a more spacious and relaxing rear cabin, Lexus said.
