A year after Lexus dropped the hybrid version of its LC, the automaker is now dropping the coupe and convertibles altogether.
Lexus Canada told this blog the 2026 model year will be the last of the LC, which is currently available as the LC 500 coupe and convertible.
“As part of Lexus’ continued effort to evolve and align with the brand’s greater global business strategy, the product lineup is regularly adjusted to meet our guests’ (or consumers) needs now and in the future. As such, the Lexus LC 500 will officially be discontinued after the 2026 model year for the Canadian market,” Lexus Canada said in an emailed statement.
“In October of 2025, Lexus offered a glimpse at the brand’s future at the Japan Mobility Show with the debut of multi-modal DISCOVER Vision, which intends to blend emerging technologies with brand’s human-focused DNA to evolve a new, uniquely Lexus value in the luxury space.”
The news comes about a year after the company discontinued the RC coupe.
