Here’s when you’ll start seeing Honda’s new ‘H’ logo on cars

Honda has maintained an H mark on its automobiles since 1963 and the current one is due for an update.

Honda’s vehicles will soon sport a new logo on the grille, and wherever else the symbol appears on the car.

The H mark has been used on Honda’s automobiles since 1963 and the current one, which was introduced in 2000, is due for an update.

Honda Motor Co. Ltd. said the new H mark will first appear on the company’s next-generation electric vehicles and next-gen hybrid-electric vehicles, starting with vehicles introduced for 2027 and beyond.

The new symbol was refreshed in conjunction with the development of the company’s next-gen EVs, such as the Honda 0 Series vehicles.

But the company won’t stop at just EVs and hybrids, as the new logo will eventually be expanded to represent Honda’s entire automobile business, appearing on all vehicles.

And, it won’t stop at just cars.

The company’s dealerships, communications initiatives, motorsports activities and other customer touchpoints will all sport the new symbol.

“The automobile market is currently undergoing a major transformation with electrification and application of intelligent technologies,” the company said in a news release.

“The new H mark will represent the ‘second founding,’ which Honda is pursing with strong determination to lead the way during this period of transformation by offering new value that goes beyond customer expectations with cutting-edge technology and ideas without being bound by conventional ideas, practices and ways of doing things.”
