The Nissan Pathfinder, fresh off a face lift, is returning to the Canadian market in 2026, albeit at higher starting prices as it skips some previous less-expensive trims.
The midsize three-row SUV was one of several vehicles Nissan Canada stopped importing from the United States in 2025 due to Canada’s counter-tariffs on U.S.-assembled vehicles.
The company said the 2026 Pathfinder will reach Canadian dealerships in the spring.
For 2026, it skips the base S and one-up SV trims and now starts with the Rock Creek trim with a starting manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $55,398.
To compare that to last year’s prices, the 2025 Pathfinder base S model had a starting MSRP of $47,198, while the Rock Creek version (the new base model) had started at $53,198.
About the 2026 Pathfinder
The Pathfinder received updated front and rear fascias, satin exterior badges as well as a new colour, Baltic Teal.
On the inside, the Pathfinder gets an updated dashboard with a larger touchscreen, now measuring 12.3 inches, and embossed “PATHFINDER” lettering.
All versions get standard wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and a Qi2 wireless charger.
The Platinum grade rides on new 20-inch wheels and the seats get a new quilting pattern and wood-tone trim.
There are two new camera systems that are now standard. One is Front Wide View, which offers a 180-degree view to the front and sides of the vehicle. The other is Invisible Hood View, which offers a virtual view through the vehicle’s hood and engine bay. The systems build on the HD Intelligent Around View Monitor, which had already been available previously.

The Rock Creek version includes an off-road-tuned suspension, all-terrain tires, a unique front bumper and grille, LED fog lights, a tubular roof rock, leatherette seats with Lava Red interior stitching, panoramic moonroof, and a 12-volt power outlet.
