Subaru Canada has announced pricing for the newly launched Trailseeker electric SUV, which slots in above the Solterra in the automaker’s EV lineup.
The 2026 Subaru Solterra has a starting manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $54,995. That is $2,700 more than the starting MSRP for the 2026 Solterra, which was heavily revised for this year. The MSRP doesn’t include various fees and levies.
The Trailseeker is 150 millimetres longer and 25 millimetres taller than the Solterra.
All versions of the Trailseeker feature symmetrical all-wheel drive and 210 millimetres of ground clearance. The powertrain features dual-function X-Mode with Snow/Dirt and Deep Snow/Mud modes, as well as grip control and downhill assist control.
The EV’s dual-motor powertrain produces a total of 375 hp, and it has a towing capacity of up to 1,500 kilograms.
Providing electrical juices to the e-motors is a 74.7-kWh lithium-ion high-capacity battery. Subaru estimates driving range of up to 420 kilometres on a full charge.
A North American Charging Standard (NACS) charge port is standard.
