Each year, Cobble Beach Concours d’Elegance gathers some of the finest and best-preserved classic cars you’ll find anywhere in Canada.
And each year, the event raises money for two hospitals, one in Toronto and one in Owen Sound.
The car show announced that after 11 years of fundraising for charity, it has surpassed $1.3 million raised, including more than $200,000 of that coming from the most recent event in September 2025.
The two recipients, and amounts received, are:
- Sunnybrook Foundation – $190,837 (11-year total of $1,199,180)
- Brightshores Health System Owen Sound Foundation – $33,888 (11-year total $182,169)
The annual Cobble Beach Concours d’Elegance and Motoring Festival happens at the tail end of summer along the shores of Georgian Bay in Kemble, Ont., which is located near Owen Sound.
Brightshores Health System Owen Sound Foundation is the fundraising arm of Brightshores Health System, which operates six hospitals in the Grey Bruce region, including an Owen Sound campus.
Sunnybrook Foundation raises funds for Toronto’s Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, an academic health science centre with the largest trauma centre in Canada.
Combined, the two hospital foundations have received $1,389,349 through Cobble Beach Concours d’Elegance fundraising over the years.
“These contributions directly support health-care, innovation, and our local communities—demonstrating how a shared passion for classic automobiles can create meaningful change well beyond the show field,” an email from the Cobble Beach Concours d’Elegance said.
People can still make donations today. More information is available on the Cobble Beach Concours d’Elegance website.
