Model details

The EV5 will be available in a variety of powertrain configurations, including front-wheel and all-wheel drive versions.

It will also come standard with a North American Charging Standard (NACS) port, giving it direct access to Tesla Supercharger-style public charging stations.

Customers will be able to choose from eight exterior colours, and available alloy wheels include 18-, 19- and 20-inch sizes.

The five-seater is said to be roomy on the inside with plenty of cargo and storage space, and has an interior comprised of what Kia calls 10 environmentally mindful materials.

There are also almost 30 inches of panoramic screen in the driver’s view.

The Kia EV5 is produced in South Korea.
