Lucid has opened the order books for the less expensive version of its Gravity electric SUV, which is available in two- and three-row configurations.
The Lucid Gravity initially arrived in Canada in early 2025 in Grand Touring trim, but now the less-expensive Touring trim is available in Canada, the automaker announced Nov. 20.
The starting Canadian price for the Lucid Gravity Touring is $113,500.
The Grand Touring version costs $134,500.
“The Lucid Gravity Touring unlocks a new audience for the Lucid brand in the broad and critical SUV segment,” Lucid interim CEO Marc Winterhoff said in a news release. “There’s not another SUV in its segment that can deliver the combination of range, interior space, and driving performance found in the Lucid Gravity Touring.”
What does Touring model give up?
You aren’t likely to spot visual differences between the two models, but there are some changes underneath the sheet metal.
Both versions are built on the same platform and share a battery and powertrain architecture. There’s just a bit less of everything.
The Touring gets a 89-kWh battery pack compared to the Grand Touring’s 123 kWh.
It has 560 hp versus 828 hp.
It has an NRCan estimated driving range of 542 kilometres, compared to the Grand Touring’s 724 kilometres.
It can charge at rates of 220 kW at Tesla Superchargers (300 kW at 1,000V DC fast charging stations), whereas the Grand Touring can charge at 225 kW at Tesla Superchargers (400 kW at 1,000V charters).
Zero to 100 km/h is said to arrive in 4.2 seconds, compared the Grand Touring’s 3.6 seconds.

Features
The Gravity Touring has a standard air suspension and an optional dynamic handling package.
The Touring has 20 to 23-inch wheel sizes and a standard Stealth Appearance package, which includes dark polished finishes, and an available Platinum Appearance package, just like the Grand Touring.
Both versions also have six exterior colours available.
On the inside, there’s a 34-inch curved 6K OLED driver display.
The SUV also has Lucid UX 3.0 and over-the-air updates, providing a software-defined experience that evolves over time and an optional DreamDrive 2 Pro, which is the company’s most advanced driver-assistance system. It includes 32 on-board sensors.
