When are Canada’s 2026 auto shows happening?

Montreal, Toronto, Quebec City, Vancouver, Edmonton and Calgary host major automotive showcases.

Auto show season is nearly here, and below we’ve got the dates of the major Canadian automotive events of 2026.

Montreal International Auto Show

Dates: Jan. 16 to 25

The Montreal Auto Show (Salon de l’Auto de Montréal) has been happening for more than 80 years. For 2026, organizers say we can expect all the latest in gasoline-powered, hybrid and electric vehicles, luxury car displays, EV test drives and more.

Canadian International AutoShow

Dates: Feb. 13 to 22

The Canadian International AutoShow in Toronto is the nation’s largest automotive showcase. It features more than 650,000 square feet of exhibits and attracts more than 300,000 visitors.

Quebec City International Auto Show

Dates: March 3 to 8

The Quebec City International Auto Show (Salon international de l’auto de Québec) features automotive exhibits, of course, plus a family zone, activities, road tests, featured cars and more.

Calgary International Auto and Truck Show

Dates: March 11 to 15

Calgary’s automotive event takes over the BMO Centre. Organizers haven’t yet announced details of the 2026 event, but the BMO Centre has the event scheduled for March 11 to 15.

Vancouver International Auto Show

Dates: March 25 to 29

The Vancouver International Auto Show, also known as Elevate, features more than 300,000 square feet of automotive displays. Organizers say the 2026 event will feature more automakers, supercars, vehicle unveilings and more.

Edmonton Motorshow

Dates: April 9 to 12

The Edmonton Motorshow’s four-day event is called the Auto Experience. The auto show is intended to be more immersive for visitors with test drives and experiences, while also being a showcase of vehicles from manufacturers, retailers, custom vehicles, exotics and more.
