Lexus adds two more RX trims for 2026

The F Sport Black Line trim is being added on the RX 350 and the Ultra Premium trim is being added to the RX 450h+ model.

The grade options of the Lexus RX are expanding in 2026.

The automaker added two new trim levels for the sport utility vehicle, bringing the total number of RX versions to 17.

The RX is available with four powertrain versions, the RX 350, RX 350h, RX 500h and RX 450h+. More details on each powertrain is available below, but first let’s look at the two new grade levels.

The RX 350 is gaining a new top-of-the-line grade called F Sport Black Line, while the RX 450h+ is getting a new entry-level grade called Ultra Premium.

The RX 350 F Sport Black Line builds on the previous top-line F Sport Series 3 model, but adds a black aero kit, exclusive five-spoke wheels with a black finish, orange brake calipers, illuminated door sills, grey interior stitching and perforations plus black F Sport carpeted floor mats and cargo mats.

The new RX 450h+ Ultra Premium includes numerous features, including Lexus Interface with Service Connect, Safety Connect, Remote Connect, and Drive Connect, as well as a 14-inch touchscreen, 12 speakers, seven-inch multi-information display, 21-inch high alloy wheels, power tilting/sliding moon roof, power folding mirrors, heated Lexus emblem, colour-keyed over-fenders, an adaptive high beam system, three-zone climate control, heated and ventilated front seats, a driver’s seat memory system, NuLuxe upholstery, heated steering wheel, rear console box, single-colour ambient interior illumination system, auto limited-slip differential, shift-by-wire, active noise control, stop-and-start system, downhill assist control, a wireless charging dock, digital rear-view mirror, power back door, 1,500-watt inverter, traffic jam assist, lane change assist, front cross traffic alert, parking support with brake, safe exit assist with e-Latch, and a digital key.

Powertrain options

As mentioned above, there are four powertrain versions to choose from, each one with several grade levels.

The RX 350 is powered by a turbocharged 2.4-litre four-cylinder engine with 275 hp and 317 lb.-ft. of torque, an eight-speed automatic transmission and electronically controlled full-time all-wheel drive.

The RX 350h is powered by a hybrid powertrain featuring a 2.5-litre four-cylinder engine with a total output of 246 hp. The transmission is an electronically controlled continuously variable transmission.

The RX 500h is a hybrid powertrain featuring a turbocharged 2.4-litre four-cylinder engine and a high-output electric motor, inverter and reduction gearbox. This version gets a six-speed automatic transmission and Lexus Direct 4 all-wheel drive. Total output is 367 hp and 406 lb.-ft. of torque.

The RX 450h+ features a plug-in hybrid powertrain featuring a 2.5-litre four-cylinder engine with an electronically controlled CVT and electronically controlled full-time all-wheel drive. The automaker said this version can drive up to 60 kilometres on electric power.

Starting Canadian prices for the 2026 Lexus RX are as follows:

  • RX 350 Premium – $64,035 (MSRP of $60,635 plus fees and levies)
  • RX 350 Luxury – $71,449 (MSRP of $68,049 plus fees and levies)
  • RX 350 Ultra Luxury – $74,954 (MSRP of $71,554 plus fees and levies)
  • RX 350 Executive – $79,454 (MSRP of $76,054 plus fees and levies)
  • RX 350 F Sport 2 – $73,949 (MSRP of $70,549 plus fees and levies)
  • RX 350 F Sport 3 -$79,454 (MSRP of $76,054 plus fees and levies)
  • RX 350 F Sport Black Line (new) – $82,314 (MSRP of $78,914 plus fees and levies)
