Here are the Canadian prices of 2026 Toyota GR86, including Yuzu Edition

The 2026 Toyota GR86 sports coupe is now available for purchase in Canada with a price tag that starts at a few hundred bucks more than in 2025.

The new starting manufacturer’s suggested retail price is $32,695. With fees and levies, that brings the car’s starting price to about $36,353. The new MSRP is $345 higher than in 2025.

At the top of the model range is a new Yuzu Edition, which is limited to just 30 cars in Canada, and approaches a price of $50,000.

The Toyota GR86 is a 2+2 rear-wheel-drive sports coupe that was co-developed by Toyota and Subaru. The GR86 has a Subaru twin called BRZ.

The Toyota GR86 is powered by a 2.4-litre flat-four boxer engine with 228 hp and 184 lb.-ft. of torque. Buyers can choose a six-speed manual transmission or a six-speed automatic transmission with steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters.

Canadian pricing

There are four grades to choose from. Starting Canadian prices are as follows:

  • GR86 MT – $36,353 (MSRP of $32,695 plus fees and levies)
  • GR86 Premium MT – $39,353 (MSRP of $35,695)
  • GR86 Premium AT – $41,318 (MSRP of $37,660)
  • GR86 Yuzu Edition – $48,423 (MSRP of $44,825)

The prices are approximate as fees and levies may vary by location.

All GR86 cars get an eight-inch touchscreen with Remote Connect, Safety Connect and Service Connect, plus Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility.

Each car also has a suite of active safety features.

Grade differences

The base model is only available with a six-speed manual transmission and rides on 17-inch alloy wheels. The car has a six-speaker sound system, digital gauge cluster, Smart Key System with push button start, LED headlights, dual-zone air conditioning and more.

The Premium models ride on 18-inch alloy wheels Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tires, and get an eight-speaker audio system, a duckbill spoiler, heated front seats, leather upholstery with Alcantara accents, scuff plates, aluminum sport pedals, blind spot monitoring with rear cross traffic alert, and adaptive front lighting.

The Premium model with the automatic transmission expands the car’s active safety suite to also include pre-collision throttle management and rear sonar warning.

The Yuzu Edition is only available with a six-speed manual transmission and builds on the Premium MT trim. It’s a tribute to the car’s predecessor, the Scion FR-S Release Series 1.0.

This model adds performance and styling enhancements, including an aerodynamic body kit, cat-back exhaust with silver-coloured tips and GR logos, SACHS dampers and Brembo brakes. Visual features include a unique Yuzu Yellow paint job, 18-inch matte black wheels, gloss black lug nuts, and black exterior accents.

On the inside, the Yuzu Edition gets yellow stitching finishes on interior trims, and the steering wheel, shift knob, and upholstery are finished with yellow perforations. The car also gets special-edition badges.
