Volkswagen gives ID. Buzz a limited-time $21,000 discount in Canada

The huge discount is for cash purchases only, but there are sweet lease and finance offers available as well until Oct. 31.

That electric VW microbus you’ve always wanted but couldn’t afford may finally be within reach.

Volkswagen Canada is offering a $21,000 cash purchase discount on the 2025 model year of the electric minivan, according to the automaker’s website.

The offer is available until Oct. 31.

The huge discount is just for cash purchases, but there are sweet lease and finance deals available as well.

The $21,000 cash purchase discount is available on both the single-motor and dual-motor versions of the ID. Buzz.

With the discount applied, the single-motor ID. Buzz 1st Edition comes to a starting cash purchase price of $59,640, according to the online configurator on the VW Canada website, while the dual-motor ID. Buzz 1st Edition 4MOTION gets a starting price of $65,140.

That price tag includes various fees and levies. Check with the the automaker for terms and conditions.

If you’re looking for financing or to lease, VW Canada is offering a $6,000 finance or lease discount on the 2025 ID. Buzz, plus a zero per cent interest rate for 60 months of financing and zero per cent interest for leases of 48 months.

ID.4 discount

If a three-row electric minivan is not what you’re looking for, Volkswagen is also offering a discount, albeit a smaller one, on the company’s other EV in Canada.

The ID.4 crossover SUV has a $5,000 discount, which is also available until Oct. 31.

According to the VW Canada website, the ID.4 is available with zero per cent financing for 60 months.

With the $5,000 discount applied, that gives the 2025 ID.4 a starting Canadian price of $46,340, according to the online configurator.
