Hyundai is once again offering Canadians a model that mixes our love of hockey and SUVs.
Hyundai Canada launched the Canada-exclusive Palisade Hybrid NHL Edition for the 2026 model year.
Just 500 of these SUVs will be sold.
The automaker previously created such a mashup when it launched the 2024 Santa Fe NHL Edition.
“Hockey is more than a sport in Canada, it’s part of our national identity. For us at Hyundai in Canada, we’re proud to say it’s part of our brand identity,” said Steve Flamand, president and CEO of Hyundai Auto Canada, in a news release.
The 2026 Palisade Hybrid NHL Edition has a starting manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $68,899.
It is powered by a hybrid powertrain featuring a 2.5-litre turbocharged engine mated with electric motors for a total of 329 hp and a city-highway combined fuel-efficiency rating of 8.2 L/100 km.

What’s unique about NHL Edition?
The limited-edition NHL model wears an exclusive Creamy White matte exterior colour and has a grey charcoal Nappa leather interior.
Further features include Luxwood door sills, branded carpet mats, centre wheel caps, and TuxMat floor liners and cargo tray, all of which feature the NHL team logo of the customer’s choice. These elements are also crafted by Canadian companies, Hyundai Canada said.
Buyers of these NHL Edition SUVs will also get an exclusive Hyundai x NHL-branded Yeti Roadie 32 wheeled cooler, and will be entered in a draw for a chance to win a trip for two to a 2026 Stanley Cup Final game.
Hyundai has a partnership with the NHL, National Hockey League Players’ Association and the National Hockey League Alumni Association in Canada.
