Cadillac’s recently launched Optiq all-electric compact SUV is getting a power boost for 2026, while also getting a new lower starting price.
The base price drop is courtesy of the introduction of new single-motor rear-wheel-drive variants in 2026, whereas in 2025 the SUV was only available with dual-motor all-wheel drive.
Even so, the 2026 rear-wheel-drive powertrain has greater power (estimated 315 hp) compared to 2025’s all-wheel-drive models (estimated 300 hp).
What’s more, the all-wheel-drive powertrain is getting a power boost for 2026, now coming in at an estimated 440 hp.
