Lexus NX gains more F Sport grades in 2026

The small SUV is available in three powertrain options, the ICE-powered NX 350, the hybrid NX 350h, and the plug-in hybrid NX 450h+.

Lexus is expanding the number of grades for buyers of its NX small SUV to choose from in 2026, with the addition of three separate F Sport grades.

The Lexus NX series is available in three powertrain options – there’s the internal combustion engine-only NX 350, the hybrid NX 350h, and the plug-in hybrid NX 450h+.

For 2026, the automaker has added all-new F Sport 2 and F Sport 3 grades on the NX 350h as well as an F Sport 2 grade on the NX 450h+.

NX 350h F Sport 2

On the 2026 NX 350h, the new F Sport 2 trim builds on the Premium grade and adds more aggressive styling and sportier performance.

Lexus said the F Sport 2 gets F Sport-exclusive features, such as 20-inch alloy wheels, steering wheel, and seats. There’s also a heated, advanced touch steering wheel, heated and ventilated front seats, a driver’s seat memory system, adaptive variable suspension systems, front and rear performance rods, and a head-up display – while the Lexus Interface is upgraded to add Drive Connect plus a 14-inch touchscreen display and 10 speakers.

Further features include a seven-inch multi-information display, a 64-colour thematic ambient illumination system, and a wireless charging dock for smart phones, while safety enhancements include the blind spot monitor system with rear cross traffic brake, lane change assist, and intuitive parking assist with auto braking.

NX 350h F Sport 3

The F Sport 3 builds on the F Sport 2 trim mentioned above.

This grade includes a 17-speaker Mark Levinson audio system, a panoramic moonroof, 60/40 power folding and heated rear seats, a digital key and credit card-sized wallet key, a power rear door with kick sensor, and triple beam headlamps. Additional safety features include a digital rear-view mirror and a panoramic view monitor.

NX 450h+ F Sport 2

The NX450h+ F Sport 2 builds on the Ultra Premium grade and adds more aggressive styling and performance.

The grade adds F Sport-exclusive items such as 20-inch alloy wheels, steering wheel, and seats.

It also includes an advanced touch steering wheel, adaptive variable suspension systems, front and rear performance rods, 64-colour thematic ambient illumination system, a wireless charging dock, digital key and credit card-sized wallet key, black trim accents, and painted wheel arch moldings. Safety enhancements include lane change assist and intuitive parking assist with auto braking.

Powertrains

The NX 350 models are powered by a turbocharged 2.4-litre four-cylinder engine with intercooling and active noise control mated to an eight-speed direct shift automatic transmission. This powertrain produces 275 hp and 317 lb.-ft. of torque while also returning a city-highway combined fuel efficiency rating of 9.5 L/100 km. The NX 350 is offered in six grades.

The NX 350h models have a hybrid-electric powertrain featuring a 2.5-litre four-cylinder engine mated to a continuously variable transmission. This powertrain has an output of 240 hp and has a city-highway combined fuel efficiency rating of 6.0 L/100 km. The NX 350h is also offered in six grades.

The NX 450h+ vehicles feature a plug-in hybrid powertrain featuring a 2.5-litre four-cylinder engine, mated to a CVT. This powertrain produces 304 hp and has a fuel efficiency rating of 6.6 L/100 km. Thanks to its high-capacity lithium-ion battery, the NX 450h+ has an electric driving range of 58 kilometres. There are four NX 450h+ grades to choose from.
