It turns out Chevrolet is not done with sedans, even if it’s not selling them here anymore.
The automaker has launched an all-new Chevrolet Cruze for the 2026 model year – it just won’t be available in Canada as it’s not planned for North America.
The compact sedan has been launched for the Middle East and will be available in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman, Jordan, Lebanon, Iraq and Bahrain.
The 2026 Cruze is actually based on the current Chevrolet Monza, which is sold in China, according to various media reports.
For the Middle East, the car is available in two trims, LS and LT, and features modern tech such as LED auto-sensing headlights, LED taillights, 16-inch alloy wheels and interior tech such as dual 10.25-inch displays, and so on.

The car is powered by a 1.5-litre four-cylinder engine with 113 hp and 104 lb.-ft. of torque mated to a six-speed dual-clutch transmission.
“Redesigned to meet the needs of today’s drivers, the 2026 Cruze combines modern style, dependable performance and smart features, offering a practical yet refined mobility solution,” Chevrolet Arabia said in a news release.
