This may be a case of better late than never as Canada is finally getting the Rock Creek edition of the Nissan Rogue, a year after other markets.

The Rock Creek trim will become available on the compact SUV starting with the 2026 model year, with availability beginning this fall, Nissan Canada announced.

The off-road trim launched in the U.S. for 2025.

The Rock Creek edition gains rugged visual elements along with features intended to improve the Rogue’s off-road capabilities, including all-terrain tires and hill descent control.

Visual changes

The Rock Creek edition has a gloss black front grille with silver accents, a redesigned front fascia with red accents, gloss black side-view mirrors and a tubular roof rack, which has integrated cross bars with red accents.

Rock Creek Rogues ride on 17-inch satin black wheels and Falken Wildpeak beadlock style all-terrain tires.

The Rock Creek edition is available in four colours, those being Everest White, Super Black, Boulder Grey and Baja Storm.

Technology

The Rogue’s HD Intelligent Around View Monitor gains an off-road view that can be used at speeds up to 19 km/h. The view is designed to help the driver spot obstacles.

The all-wheel-drive system gets the hill descent control, which maintains a steady speed when going down steep slope.

All Rogue models also have standard nissan Safety Shield 360, a suite of advanced driver assistance systems.

The Rock Creek edition has the Rogue’s smaller infotainment touchscreen, measuring eight inches, instead of the 12.3-inch unit found on the Platinum trim.
