Mazda is planning to launch the next generation of its popular CX-5, the automaker announced in a teaser of the upcoming reveal.

The CX-5 compact crossover is currently the company’s bestselling vehicle in Canada.

The 2026 Mazda CX-5 compact crossover will be revealed on July 10.

“Crafted to fit urban and active lifestyles seamlessly, CX-5 appeals to customers who need a vehicle that is just as capable tackling everyday errands as it is tackling the weekend excursions and getaways,” the automaker said in a news release.

“With a confidence-inspiring drive, engaging design, and functionality to match, the all-new 2026 CX-5 is intended for both life-long customers and those new to Mazda.”

Mazda said the updated CX-5 will have sharper design that evolves the current SUV’s distinctive character, plus a more spacious cabin and greater utility.

Furthermore, Mazda said the new CX-5 combines a high level of craftsmanship, human-centric technology and class-leading safety.

Mazda issued multiple teaser images of the incoming vehicle.
