The Lego Group has unveiled a new Lego Icons set of a legendary car.
The company is launching the Lego Icons Shelby Cobra 427 S/C model car set, described as a collectible set designed for adults.
Lego said the set allows enthusiasts to relive the legendary and iconic 1960s sports car, which is celebrating its own 60th anniversary in August of 2025.

About the set
The Lego Icons Cobra is a 10:1 scale of the real car and consists of 1,241 brick pieces.
The set has maneuverable steering, as well as opening doors, trunk and hood, and a V8 engine that is said to have been meticulously recreated.
There are side exhausts and a gaping mouth grille, too, just like the real car.
The Lego car also has the Shelby Cobra’s iconic blue body colour with its signature white racing stripes.
The set includes a little Lego toolbox that fits into the car’s trunk, a fire extinguisher between the seats and a celebratory trophy.

$100 bill game
There’s also a $100 bill piece on the car’s dashboard, a nod to Caroll Shelby’s “$100 bill game.”
Carroll Shelby, the story goes, used to bet passengers in his Cobra 427 that they couldn’t grab a $100 bill off the dash before the car hit 60 mph while he was accelerating. If they managed to get it, the money was theirs.
“This model offers not just a rewarding building experience for vintage vehicle lovers, but also a piece of automotive history that can be displayed in the home or office,” Lego Group said in a news release.
Price and availability
Lego Insiders will get first dibs on the car, beginning on July 1, while the set will become available to the general public on July 4.
The Canadian price is $199.99.
