The Canadian division of Germany’s favourite sports car brand is auctioning a vehicle any proud Canadian could be proud of driving.
Porsche Cars Canada is auctioning a unique 911 GT3 RS, one wearing red and white livery and sporting a large maple leaf just for good measure.
The vehicle is part the celebration of the opening of Porsche Experience Centre Toronto, located just east of Toronto in Pickering, which is scheduled to open its gates on June 19.
The special 911 GT3 RS is being auctioned through RM Sotheby’s with partial proceeds supporting Campfire Circle, an Ontario-based charity that provides in-hospital and overnight camp programs to children with serious illnesses and their families.
The auction is already open and bidding will conclude on Canada Day.
“Much like the Porsche Experience Centre Toronto itself, this special vehicle was the realization of a dream,” said Trevor Arthur, president and CEO, Porsche Cars Canada, Ltd., in a news release “We are delighted at the potential that this vehicle has to fascinate and make its mark well beyond its new owner.”

About the car
Porsche said the car is a highly bespoke version of the 911 GT3 RS with Weissach Package. The car had previously been shown at the 2024 Canadian International AutoShow in Toronto.
GT3 RS cars are high-performance versions of 911 cars and are powered by a 4-litre six-cylinder flat engine with 518 hp. Porsche said the car accelerates from zero to 100 km/h in 3.2 seconds. The optional Weissach package on the GT3 RS, which is included in this Maple Leaf-wearing version, reduces the car’s weight by nearly 15 kilograms.
The car was commissioned by Porsche Cars Canada and built in partnership between the Canadian division and the Porsche Sonderwunsch team in Germany with designer Grant Larson leading the design.

The Canadian livery is obvious on the outside, but it also continues on the inside of the car.
The interior features custom fabric described as “pepita,” which I believe is a particular type of pumpkin seed.
What’s more, the car has its own watch, or, as Porsche calls it, timepiece, and a special 1:18 scale model car, which are part of the same auction lot. The winner of the auction will also get a driving experience at the Porsche Experience Centre.
The auction details on the RM Sotheby’s website indicates the car’s retail value is $415,375.
