
The Hemi engine will continue to be available on the Dodge Durango through the 2026 model year, with the automaker announcing a new package for models with this engine.
For 2026, the three-row SUV is gaining the Durango R/T Blacktop Redline Package.
R/T models of the Dodge Durango are powered by a 5.7-litre V8 Hemi engine producing 360 hp and 390 lb.-ft. of torque. Hemi engines have hemispherical combustion chambers.
Blacktop Redline
The Blacktop Redline version gets new 20-inch (eight inches wide) Black Noise wheels, blacked-out Hemi and Dodge grille badging, front and rear SRT spoilers, black SRT exhaust tips, black roof rails with integrated crossbars and more.
When the Tow N Go package is added to the R/T Blacktop Redline, the SUV gets 20-inch forged Lights Out wheels that are 10 inches wide.
The Blacktop Redline Package is available on R/T and R/T Plus trims.
Standard features on R/T models include all-wheel drive, 20-inch wheels, a performance hood, Alpine audio system with nine speakers and a subwoofer, performance steering and suspension, the Uconnect 5 infotainment system with a 10.1-inch touchscreen, wireless phone charging pad, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, Dodge performance pages and more.

Tow N Go
The Tow N Go package gives the Durango R/T a towing capacity of 3,946 kilograms (8,700 pounds).
It includes Brembo brake calipers with four-wheel disc performance brakes, SRT performance-tuned steering, widebody flares, high-performance exhaust, electronic limited slip rear axle and adaptive damping.
2026 Durango sales
The Dodge Durango is available with V6 and V8 engines.
The V6-powered 2026 Durango GT and 5.7-litre V8-powered 2026 Durango R/T go on sale in June, with deliveries expected in the third quarter of 2025. Canadian pricing will be announced later.
Details about the 2026 Durango SRT Hellcat models, powered by a Hemi engine producing 710 hp, will be shared in the second half of 2025.
