Honda Canada has announced pricing for the 2026 CR-V, which was updated with more standard tech and gained a new, rugged TrailSport Hybrid trim.
For 2026, the compact SUV has a starting manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $36,975, an increase of $500 over the 2025 model. With fees and levies included, that brings the 2026 CR-V’s starting price to $40,111.
The CR-V is Honda’s top-selling vehicle.
New features in 2026
Honda said the 2026 CR-V gets the following new features:
- Larger nine-inch HD touchscreen (plus 51 mm) in LX and Sport models
- 10.2-inch full-digital instrument display (EX-L Hybrid, Sport Hybrid, TrailSport Hybrid, Touring Hybrid)
- Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility (Standard)
- Wireless phone charger (Standard)
- Rugged Continental CrossContact ATR all-terrain tires (TrailSport Hybrid)
- Enhanced traction management off-road (AWD models)
- Ash Green Metallic (TrailSport Hybrid)
- Google-built in (Touring Hybrid)

What is TrailSport?
The 2026 CR-V is getting its first TrailSport Hybrid model. The TrailSport trim is intended as a more ruggeld, all-terrain version of a vehicle. There is no non-hybrid TrailSport available.
The TrailSport Hybrid version of the CR-V includes rugged styling touches, Continental CrossContact ATR all-terrain tires on Shark Gray 18-inch wheels, and all-wheel drive. Honda said on-road dynamics are maintained despite the rugged upgrades.
The front fascia gets a silver skid garnish, a piano black rear spoiler, black door handles and window surrounds, and orange TrailSport badges on the grille and tailgate.
Traction is improved in dirt, sand, mud, rocky terrain and snow, Honda said, while maintaining a quiet ride on the road.
The interior gets TrailSport logos embroidered on the front seat headrests and molded on the all-season rubber floor mats.
The foot wells, overhead console, door handle pocket, door tray and cup holders get amber ambient lighting.
Other standard features include Honda’s real-time all-wheel drive with Intelligent Control System, heated front seats and steering wheel, moonroof, 10.2-inch digital instrument display, nine-inch colour touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, wireless phone charger and a power tailgate.

Powertrain options
The CR-V is available with two powertrain choices.
The non-hybrid models are powered by a turbocharged 1.5-litre engine, producing 190 hp and 179 lb.-ft. of torque.
The other option is a two-motor hybrid powertrain with a 2-litre engine, producing 204 hp and 247 lb.-ft. of torque.
