Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has been named the NBA’s most valuable player for the 2024-25 season.
The Toronto-born, Hamilton-raised guard for the Oklahoma City Thunder is the second Canadian player to be named NBA MVP, following in the footsteps of Steve Nash, who was named league MVP in two straight seasons, in 2005 and 2006.
Gilgeous-Alexander, also known as SGA, has gained a bit of a reputation for being a collector of high-end cars.
In 2024, he partnered with Mercedes-AMG, the performance brand of Mercedes-Benz, to appear in an episode of “AMG Uncovered,” in which the All-Star basketball player talks about his Mercedes-AMG G 63.
“It’s unique, swaggy and fun to drive,” he had said in a March 15 news release.
You can watch the short episode on YouTube.
But the G-Wagen is not the only Mercedes vehicle he drives. He has also been seen with a Mercedes-Maybach S 680, which you can see below.
In between Instagram posts about his family, or showing off his fashions or new kicks, SGA also delights us with posts showcasing some of rides.
Below are a few.
Above, you can see him with a Tesla Cybertruck and below he’s leaning against a McLaren car.
