Getting more power and range from an electric vehicle sound about right and that’s what Honda is delivering.
The automaker announced details of the 2025 Honda Prologue electric SUV, which is seeing an improvement in both of the above areas.
The 2025 Prologue is now on sale in Canada with a starting manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $59,990, which brings the price to approximately $63,158 with fees and levies.

More power and range
The Prologue is available in Canada in three trims, those being EX, EX-L and Touring.
All three trims now have 300 hp (up by 12 hp over the 2024 model) and 355 lb.-ft. of torque (up by 25 lb.-ft.)
The estimated driving range on the EX and EX-L is now 473 kilometres, an increase of 20 km.
The estimated driving range on the Touring model is now 455 kilometres, an increase of 16 km.
“The Honda Prologue’s success can be attributed to the trust placed in the Honda brand by Canadians across the country,” said Emile Korkor, assistant vice president, Honda Canada, in a news release. “We’re excited to announce that for 2025 the Prologue offers improved power and estimated range, this will make it even more competitive and enticing for consumers considering purchasing their first or next electric vehicle.”

Fast charging
The Prologue has an 85-kWh lithium-ion battery. Honda said with DC fast-charging rates of 150 kW, the battery can recharge up to 100 kilometres of range in about 10 minutes of charging.
Honda will also begin selling NACS to CCS adapters this summer, which will enable the vehicle to be charged at Tesla Supercharger charging stations.
Canadian pricing on the 2025 Honda Prologue is as follows:
