Toyota has introduce a new blue colour that’s exclusively available on the TRD Pro versions of its trucks and SUVs.
The new colour, called Wave Maker, is available on the TRD Pro versions of 4Runner, Tacoma, Tundra and Sequoia vehicles, beginning with the 2026 model year.
“We had a few years of warm natural hues inspired by traditional landscape like Terra and Mudbath as signature colours. With Wave Maker we were inspired by unexplored areas of adventure including extreme territory and even beyond earth,” said Benjamin Jimenez, general manager at Toyota’s CALTY’s Ann Arbor location, where the colour was developed, in a news release. “Wave Maker expresses an elemental spirit that evokes images of glacial depths and the thrill of new frontiers.”
This is the 11th unique TRD Pro colour.
The others include: Inferno (2015) (in the US), Quicksand (2016), Cement (2017), Cavalry Blue (2018), Voodoo Blue (2019), Army Green (2020), Lunar Rock (2021), Electric Lime (2022), Solar Octane (2023), Terra (2024) and Mudbath (2025).
