Few people in the world will ever own a Koenigsegg car.

While you may not be one of the lucky few, it’s still fun to check out just what some of the world’s fastest hypercars are capable of.

Koenigsegg Automotive shared a new record with the world, and is letting us see it from the driver’s cockpit as it is achieved. This record is the top speed in a standing half-mile.

The car was able to rip through the half-mile time trap at a blistering speed of 359.83 km/h (223.59 mph).

On the way to that record standing half-mile top speed, the car posted some of other spectacular numbers.

Check them out:

  • Zero to 100 km/h – 2.79 seconds
  • Zero to 200 km/h – 5.53 seconds
  • 200 to 300 km/h – 3.96 seconds
  • Quarter mile – 8.88 seconds (291.03 km/h)

Anyway, why read about the record run, when you can watch it? Check out the Instagram post.

Back in mid-2024, the Jesko Absolut was driven by test driver Markus Lundh for a few automotive speed records.

Those records include:

  • 0-400-0 km/h – 27.83 seconds
  • 0-400 km/h – 18.82 seconds
  • 0-250-0 mph – 28.27 seconds
  • 0-250 mph – 19.20 seconds

The Swedish automaker was founded by Christian von Koenigsegg in 1994. More information is available on the company’s website.
