The interior of the Chevrolet Corvette is gaining more tech for the 2026 model year.

The automaker announced the Corvette is getting a reimagined cabin with larger, driver-centric display screens, as well as fresh colours, finishes and materials.

The updated cabin is coming to the Stingray, E-Ray, Z06 and ZR1 models.

“For over five years, the Corvette has led the luxury sports car segment in sales in Canada, maintaining a clear margin over its nearest competitor,” said James Hodge, brand director for Chevrolet Canada, in a news release. “With these latest updates, the mid-engine Corvette is set to strengthen its position and continue leading the segment well into the future.”

What’s inside?

The new cabin gets a three-screen layout and new console design.

This includes a 12.7-inch diagonal centre console display, a 14-inch driver info screen and an all-new 6.6-inch touchscreen auxiliary display that’s set to the left of the steering wheel.

The redesigned centre console places crucial controls at the driver’s fingerprints, the automaker said.

The drive mode selector has been relocated in line with the gear selector.

The new wireless phone charging pad is below the infotainment system and has a cover to keep the phone in place.

The volume knob in the centre console display is bigger and has a lit base.

The HVAC controls are now under the centre display.

There’s a passenger grab handle now and the passenger side gets a new USB-C port available below the grab handle.

The cup holders get hand-wrapped inserts with ambient lighting, with Corvette crossed flags at the bottom of each. The 2LT/LZ and 3LT/LZ trims get cup holders highlighted with real aluminum.

Standard on the ZR1 and optional on the E-Ray and Z06 is a new carbon fibre cluster hood over the driver screen, which can be customized and ties into other carbon fibre options.

More tech

Chevrolet said new hardware and software improve the infotainment system and the three displays are larger with sharper colours, more agile and have more functionality. The new 6.6-inch display provides dedicated, driver-configurable information.

“There’s an intentional balance of physical and virtual controls,” said Dusty Smith, performance driving product manager, in the release. “For example, the head-up display (HUD) controls are now virtualized, which opens space for Performance Traction Management controls to be intuitive physical buttons. The technology in the new Corvette is as strong and capable as the engine behind you.”

A Performance app, previously available on the E-Ray, is now available on the entire Corvette lineup.

The app gives drivers access to such data as acceleration timers, g-force gauge, tire pressure and temperature gauge, propulsion system vitals gauge and eAWD gauge. The last item gives E-Ray driver information on the front axle power output and battery charge.

New materials

Chevrolet said the new interior has a more modern and elevated look and offers bespoke customization. Four additional interior colour schemes include:

  • Sky Cool and Medium Ash Grey with Habanero accents
  • Santorini Blue
  • Very Dark Atmosphere
  • Ultimate Suade

There’s also an asymmetrical colour scheme featuring Jet Black and Adrenaline Red.

There are other updates, including new exterior colours, an available electrochromic roof, blue brake calipers and other new features.

The eighth generation Corvette launched in 2019 and is built in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
