Cadillac will be giving electric vehicle buyers more options for speed as the V-Series treatment is coming to the Optiq electric SUV.
The Cadillac Optiq-V is arriving for the 2026 model year.
It will be the second EV to wear Cadillac’s high-performance badge, joining the currently available Lyriq-V.
The Optiq sits slightly below the Lyriq in Cadillac’s EV hierarchy, with the 2025 Optiq having a Canadian starting price of $63,433 compared to the Lyriq’s starting price of $70,933.
The price of the Optiq-V hasn’t been announced, but if we want to use the Lyriq as a measuring yard stick, the existing Lyriq-V carries a nearly $24,000 price premium over the non-V version.

Cadillac didn’t share any powertrain information about the upcoming Optiq-V.
“Building on Optiq’s agile drive, Cadillac engineers delivered a unique package prioritizing precision, a dynamic suspension and tight steering for an exhilarating driving experience,” the automaker said in a teaser.
