The Cadillac XT6 is getting the axe, with production set to sunset later this year.

The automaker told this blog that the vehicle will remain available in Canada while quantities last at dealerships after production ends later this year.

The XT6 is Cadillac’s lowest-priced three-row SUV. It is smaller than the Escalade and costs significantly less.

The 2025 XT6 has a starting Canadian price of $67,033.

The SUV seats seven and in base form is powered by a 2-litre turbo four-cylinder engine with 237 hp and 258 lb.-ft. of torque.

The pricier Premium Luxury and Sport trims (starting at $72,433) get a 3.6-litre V6 engine with 310 hp and 271 lb.-ft. of torque.

The demise of the XT6 follows the discontinuation of the company’s smaller gasoline-burning SUV, the XT4, which is happening while Cadillac has introduced a series of new electric SUVs.

Cadillac now has the Optiq, Lyriq, Vistiq, Escalade IQ and Escalade IQL electric SUVs available.

Size-wise, the electric Vistiq takes over where the XT6 is leaving off, offering a three-row SUV that’s smaller than the full-size Escalade.
