Production of the fifth-generation Toyota Supra is coming to an end in about a year’s time.

But, before then, Toyota is celebrating the iconic sports car`s six-year run with the launch of the 2026 GR Supra MkV Final Edition.

This special edition sits at the top of the GR Supra lineup and will be available at Canadian dealerships in the spring of 2025.

Supra powertrain

The Final Edition gets the same 3-litre turbocharged engine that lives in all six-cylinder-powered Supras. The four-cylinder model has been discontinued in 2025.

The motor produces 382 hp and 368 lb.-ft. of torque with power sent to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual or eight-speed automatic transmission.

Zero to 100 km/h is said to arrive in 4.1 seconds with the automatic and 4.4 seconds with the manual.

Final Edition features

The 2026 Supra is available in 3.0 Premium trim and this special Final Edition model.

This model gets revised differential control and exclusive control maps to improve traction and reduce understeer through turns. Larger Brembo brakes are said to improve stopping control as well.

Suspension and chassis modifications are said to enhance stability and strengthen the direct connection to the road.

A revised camber angle on the front and rear wheels is said to improve cornering grip.

The electronically controlled shock absorbers have also been revised and a stronger front stabilizer has been added, both of which are said to improve driving dynamics.

The Final Edition also gets strengthened rubber bushing for the front control arms, strengthened rubber mounts for the rear sub-frame and a stronger under-body brace, all of which improve grip and control.

The Final Edition gets a revised ducktail carbon fibre rear spoiler, front wheel arch flaps, and higher front tire spats to enhance handling. Toyota says these changes optimize front and rear aerodynamic balance and downforce.

An optimized electric power steering is said to provide a more direct steering feel and improved control.

The Final Edition gets new 19-inch matte black wheels, gloss-finished carbon fibre ducktail rear spoiler and gloss carbon fibre mirror caps.

Final Edition interior changes

On the inside of the car, occupants will find a leather-trimmed driver’s seat is upholstered in Alcantara and embroidered with the GR logo, as well as red stitching, red highlights around the gear shift knob, and red seatbelts.

Toyota said customers can also expect a GR cupholder cover and a camo car cover with the vehicle.

Style pack

Why stop at the above when you can have an even more distinct ride?

Toyota said the Final Edition will also have an available GT4 style pack option. The style pack is inspired by the GR Supra GT4 EVO2 race car.

The style pack will be available with two new colours options, Burnout or Undercover, both of which are exclusive to this car. These two colours cost extra. The car you see in these photos from Toyota features the GT4 style pack in the Undercover colour.

The style pack includes GT4-inspired side graphics on the exterior, a matte-finished carbon fibre ducktail rear spoiler, a matte-black rear Supra emblem, and red mirror caps.

The GT4 style pack will be available in the fall.

Supra’s final lap
