You can get a $10,000 discount on the Nissan Z right now

The caveat? The discount is on last year’s model. The good news, however, is the 2024 sports car is no different from the 2025.

The turn of the calendar year can often be a good time for bargain hunters on the lookout for a new vehicle.

It’s the time of year when automakers are bringing in the new vehicles and discounting the outgoing model year cars.

Such appears to be the case with Nissan’s Z sports car, and the discount currently available on the 2024 model of the car is so sweet your spouse might even let you buy one.

The 2024 Nissan Z is being offered currently in Canada with a discount of up to $10,000.

The $10,000 discount applies to the cash purchase price, whereas the finance and lease offers get discounts of $9,000, according to the Nissan Canada website.

With a starting manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $50,998, which comes $53,926 with fees and levies, the car can be had at a discounted price of $43,846, according to the advertised price on the automaker’s website. Check with the automaker for terms and conditions.

That buys you a two-seat coupe with a 3-litre twin-turbo V6 engine producing 400 hp, rear-wheel drive and a six-speed manual transmission. The base car rides on 18-inch alloy wheels.

A nine-speed automatic transmission is available.

Luckily, there are no discernible differences between the two model years, so it doesn’t appear buyers are giving anything up by buying the 2024 Z.

The discount appears to be available on the higher trims of the car as well, including the 420-hp Nismo model, which would normally cost almost $90,000, but with the discount is advertised at $78,926.

The discount ends on April 30, according to the Nissan Canada website.

You can check out the available offers on the automaker’s website.
