
The newly updated 2025 Kia EV6, which now boasts longer driving range, has arrived in Canada.
The vehicle is available in several trims, but the 641-hp GT model has not been announced for Canada.
The starting Canadian manufacturer’s suggested retail price is $48,995, which doesn’t include fees, levies or taxes.
The updated electric SUV gets updated front and rear design, new premium touches and new features and amenities.
The EV6 also comes with the next generation of Kia’s Car Navigation Cockpit (ccNC), which includes over-the-air update capability and Digital Key 2.0.
Drivers can choose from six trims. The base Light RWD model has a 63-kWh battery, while the other models get an 84-kWh battery with an 800V architecture.
Rear-wheel-drive models with the lager battery have an estimated driving range of 513 kilometres. All-wheel-drive versions get an estimated 475 kilometres of range. The base model with the smaller battery has an estimated range of 381 kilometres.
“The EV6 has been a pioneer for our new brand, and its’ electrified line-up since its launch,” said David Sherrard, director of strategic planning, Kia Canada, in a news release. “The refreshed design elements offer our customers even more technology, sophisticated styling with added EV range and offer an accessible price point to EV ownership with the Light RWD trim. We are confident the EV6 will continue to deliver Canadians the features and performance they are looking for in leading edge EV.”

The six trims and their MSRP are as follows:
- Light RWD (new) – $48,995
- Wind RWD – $55,995
- Land AWD – $58,495
- Land AWD w/ Premium Package (new) – $59,995
- Land AWD w/ GT-Line Package – $61,495
- Land AWD w/ GT-Line Limited Package – $64,995
