Canadians looking for a low-cost brand-new car continue to have the option of buying what had been the cheapest new vehicle in Canada last year, and they don’t need a time machine to get it.
That’s because the 2024 Mitsubishi Mirage continues to be available in Canada three months into 2025, even after it was discontinued following the 2024 model year.
The 2024 Mitsubishi Mirage has a starting manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $16,998.
When the automaker announced the discontinuation of the Mirage at the end of 2024, it said it expected enough inventory to be able to continue selling it through the first quarter of 2025.
We checked in again to see how much inventory is left.
On March 27, Mitsubishi Motor Sales of Canada told this blog the company should have enough inventory for another couple of months of Mirage sales in Canada.
