The Jaguar Type 00 concept car has turned heads at Paris Fashion Week in its first public European appearance since the car was unveiled in December during Miami Art Week.
Several celebrities arrived in the car to various events during the Paris Fashion Week’s run from March 3 to 11.
Celebrities riding around in the Type 00 included:
- Irish actor Barry Keoghan
- Actor, model and musician Jamie Dornan
- Actor Zoë Saldaña and husband Marco Perego-Saldaña
The Type 00 represents a preview of Jaguar’s future as the company intends to recapture its original “Copy Nothing” ethos.
The French Ultramarine paint colour worn by the Type 00 at Paris Fashion Week is a hue associated with French arts and culture since the Renaissance era, Jaguar said.
Jaguar will relaunch in a select few markets, with Paris being one of them, where Jaguar will have a new brand store in the Golden Triangle area, the heart of the city’s luxury fashion district.
“Jaguar will come to life in a select number of these exclusive brand stores, located where clients live, work, and play. They allow us to build direct client relationships and offer unique and personalized experiences. These stores will embrace their local cultures, with the Paris location highlighting the city’s rich heritage in art and its status as the home of luxury fashion,” said Jaguar managing director Rawdon Glover in a news release.
Aside from the brand stores, Jaguar will also have a wider global network of luxury retailers, the company said.
According to various media reports, Jaguar’s upcoming electric grand tourer, which is expected to resemble the Type 00, will have as much as 986 hp. Production is expected to begin in 2026.
