Lexus Canada brought a pair of brightly coloured vehicles to the 2025 Montreal International Auto Show that were wrapped by a pair of respected Montreal-based artists.

If you missed the Montreal auto show, these two vehicles, a 2024 Lexus IS 350 AWD and 2025 Lexus NX 350h, will also be making an appearance at the Canadian International AutoShow in Toronto from Feb. 14 to 23.

Mono Sourcil

Artist Maxilie Martel-Racicot, who goes by the name of Mono Sourcil, put the wrappings on the NX 350h.

She’s deeply embedded in Montreal’s vibrant cultural scene and is renowned for her dynamic energy and fluid forms, Lexus Canada said. She has also showcased her work at prestigious festivals and events in Montreal.

“I wanted to create all those precious moments where nature holds an important place and will also serve as a source of inspiration for the creation of my design,” she said in a news release.

PERU

Artist Patrick Dyer, who goes by the name of PERU, wrapped the IS 350. He’s an internationally acclaimed Peruvian-Canadian muralist and graphic artist who has been doing graffiti for more than 25 years. He’s known for transforming neglected spaces into imaginative worlds and his style aims to heal, inspire and uplift, Lexus Canada said. He’s also said to have created Canada’s longest mural.

“A car can feel like an extension of home. Some of the most meaningful memories I have as a kid were in the back seat … I spent a lot of time in deep meditation staring out the window, getting lost in my imagination,” he said in a news release.

Lexus Canada said the collaboration is part of its connection to craftsmanship and commitment to celebrating the arts.

“Each Lexus we craft is more than simply a mode of transportation – it’s a precision machine and a sanctuary of calm, designed to enhance life’s most meaningful moments,” said Martin Gilbert, director of Lexus Canada, in the release. “We’re proud to work with our two featured artists who, with their talent, captured these moments and demonstrated the essence of craftmanship that guides Lexus.”

The Toronto auto show will take place at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre Feb. 14 to 23.
