After more than a decade, Hot Wheels will produce little Ferrari toy cars once again.
Mattel, the parent company of Hot Wheels, announced a partnership with Ferrari, which will result in a full range of Hot Wheels products.
Mattel said the toys will consist of the newest Ferrari models as well as celebrated racing and road cars.
The first products will drop in the spring of 2025. Additional announcements will be made through the year and beyond.
“It was a passion project for the Hot Wheels team to deliver authentic visions of these iconic Ferrari models for the next generation of car lovers to enjoy while, at the same time, creating something extra-special for collectors to appreciate,” said Roberto Stanichi, executive vice president of Hot Wheels and head of vehicles and building sets at Mattel, in a news release. “We look forward to seeing the world’s reaction to our vision for some of the most beautiful rolling works of art in automotive history, crafted by our team of design experts that can do it better than anyone else can.”

Hot Wheels, which was founded in 1968, has produced 26 Ferrari die-cast models over the years, Mattel said. The licensing agreement between the two companies ended at the end of 2014, and the company hasn’t produced any Ferrari toy cars since.
Mattel said customers can expect a new product line that will include limited-edition models available through Mattel Creations, remote control cars and 1:64 scale die-cast cars wherever Hot Wheels are sold.
