Infiniti is dropping two SUVs from its Canadian lineup following the current year.
Nissan Canada confirmed the QX50 and QX55 SUVs will be dropped from Infiniti’s lineup in the Americas, including Canada, following the 2025 model year.
This comes after the automaker dropped the Q50 sedan from its lineup in Canada and the United States following the 2024 model year.

“Infiniti continues its product renaissance with plans to introduce a new or refreshed model every year over the next four years, including internal combustion engine and electric vehicle powertrains,” a company spokesperson said via email.
“This year, Infiniti will welcome a refreshed QX60 and introduce a QX80 Sport. Additionally, to follow, the brand will unveil three all-new nameplates: QX65 crossover, Vision QXe EV SUV, and Vision Qe EV sedan, further reinforcing the brand’s commitment to innovation, sustainability and driving the future of Infiniti.”

Future Infiniti vehicles
In late 2023, the automaker teased four new models. One of these, the QX80, which is pictured at the far right of the image above, launched in 2024. The other three are yet to come.
You can see upcoming Qe model represented at the far left of the teaser picture, while the QXe is likely the middle-left vehicle and the upcoming QX65 would be the one in the middle right. Keep in mind the production versions may not be exact as they appear in the teaser.
The automaker hasn’t said much about these upcoming vehicles, but here are a few descriptions that have been released:
- QX65 – “An all-new QX65 nameplate will adorn a new mid-sized Infiniti crossover coupe. Channeling inspiration from the pioneering Infiniti FX, the new Infiniti QX65 promises buyers a stylish two-row alternative in the cluttered midsized crossover segment.”
- Visino Qe – “The sleek fastback sedan pairs a low and wide profile, with full-width digital piano key lighting and striking machine-finished wheels.”
- Vision QXe – “Slated as its second EV offering, Vision QXe will blend the practicality of a crossover body style with Infiniti’s latest design form and a suite of advanced technologies.”
