Lucid has announced the Canadian pricing for its upcoming Gravity SUV, even as we await some performance figures for the electric vehicle.
The seven-seat SUV, launching as a 2025 model, will be available in two guises. The first is the Lucid Gravity Touring, which has a starting Canadian price of $113,500. Then there’s the more expensive Lucid Gravity Grand Touring, which has a Canadian starting price of $134,500.
The Grand Touring model delivers 828 hp and has a projected driving range of more than 720 kilometres. It also accelerates from zero to 60 mph in less than 3.5 seconds, Lucid said. It is expected to be available soon.
The less-expensive Touring model will be available in late 2025. The automaker didn’t provide performance figures for this model.
“The anticipation in Canada for Lucid Gravity’s unprecedented combination of versatility, performance, design, and all-around capability has been extraordinary,” said Lucid CEO Peter Rawlinson in a news release. “This revolutionary vehicle is uniquely enabled through our technology and is perfectly suited to the demands of the Canadian market.”
Lucid said the Gravity has a total of nearly 3,400 litres of cargo space, including the frunk. The frunk also has an optional seat that can sit two adults when the vehicle is parked.
The Grand Touring model gets its energy from a 123-kWh battery pack, which is slightly larger than the one found in the company’s Air Grand Touring car.
The SUV also has an optional three-chamber air suspension that adapts to changing terrain for a comfortable ride and precise handling, the automaker said.
