The sales folks at Lamborghini had a busy and productive year as the automaker reported 2024 was its best sales year yet.
The company delivered a total of 10,687 vehicles through the year, an increase of six per cent over 2023, its previous record year.
Stephan Winkelmann, chairman and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini, called it an accomplishment that reflects the company’s increasingly strong bond with its customers and the growing interest in the brand.
“In a period of transformation we have introduced models that earned the seal of approval, reflecting our commitment to always pushing boundaries and expectation while focused on sustainable development. The results highlight the success of strategically balancing supply and demand, along with a well-calibrated order portfolio, strengthening the brand’s desirability and the residual value of our products,” he said in a news release.
The brand reported sales by three markets, with a total of 3,712 vehicles sold in the Americas, an increase of seven per cent over 2023.
The company didn’t provide specifics of how many of each vehicle it sold, but said its V12 hybrid super sports car Revuelto led the way with a strong order portfolio that continues until the end of 2026.
The outgoing Huracán model also had a successful year with the last cars produced still to be delivered through 2025. This car is being replaced in Lamborghini’s lineup by the Temerario.
The automaker also launched the Urus SE plug-in hybrid SUV, which will replace the current Urus S and Performance models in the company’s lineup. Lamborghini said this latest model received immediate positive response globally.
