
The Canadian International AutoShow has got a treat for supercar lovers.
The 2025 event will feature a McLaren display with five cars, one of which is a life-size version made entirely of Lego.
The Toronto event will run from Feb. 14 to 23 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre.
Here are the McLaren vehicles to be displayed:
- McLaren GTS
- McLaren 750S
- McLaren Artura
- McLaren P1
- Lego Technic version of McLaren P1

Lego McLaren P1
The Lego car, made in collaboration with McLaren Automotive and the Lego Group, is made up of 342,817 Lego Technic pieces. It is made of 393 different types of pieces.
It is the first big build by the Lego Group that is capable of steering and driving an entire lap of a racetrack.
McLaren Formula 1 Team driver Lando Norris took the car for a spin at his local track and the home of the British Grand Prix, the Silverstone Circuit, and completed a lap on the 5.891-kilometre track.
The vehicle weighs 1,220 kilograms (2,690 pounds) and was built by 23 specialists, including designers, engineers and builders. It took 8,344 hours from design to completion.
“We are excited to welcome back McLaren and Lego Canada for 2025,” said Jason Campbell, general manager of the AutoShow. “Visitors of all ages will be able to appreciate these exhibits that represent the pinnacle of innovation and craftsmanship.”

McLaren supercars
Supercar lovers will also be able to get to check out real McLaren cars.
The GTS is powered by a 4-litre V8 that produces 626 hp and 465 lb.-ft. of torque. The car is reported to accelerate from zero to 100 km/h in 3.2 seconds and 200 km/h in 8.9 seconds.
The 750S features a 4-litre twin-turbo V8 producing 740 hp and 590 lb.-ft. of torque. It has a reported zero to 100 km/h acceleration time of 2.8 seconds.
The Artura is a lightweight supercar featuring a 3-litre twin-turbo V6. It is reportedly capable of accelerating from zero to 100 km/h in 2.9 seconds and 200 km/h in 8.3 seconds.
Lastly, the P1 is a McLaren icon, which pioneered various automotive technologies.
The McLaren display will be at the 300 Level of he North Building of the convention centre. The Lego and McLaren feature will be on the 700 Level of the South Building.
The Lego display also features a 6,000-square-foot kids play zone and retail area.
