
Honda announced it will be unveiling a pair of electric vehicle prototypes at CES 2025, also known as the Consumer Electronics Show.
The two Honda 0 Series prototypes will be unveiled during a press conference on Jan. 7 in Las Vegas.
The prototypes are said to represent models that will be coming to the global market in 2026.
The automaker says its Honda 0 Series features a “thin, light and wise” development approach. Honda plans to provide more details on t his approach during CES 2025.
Furthermore, the car company will introduce a new proprietary vehicle operating system and automated driving technologies that will be applied to Honda 0 Series vehicles. Honda also said it will provide an overview of the System on Chip that will support future software defined vehicles.
Lastly, the automaker is also set to introduce a new energy service. This service will launch with the Honda 0 Series models and is part of the automaker’s initiatives toward reaching carbon neutrality.
The automaker is planning to launch seven Honda 0 Series vehicles by 2030 globally, including small-, medium- and large-size models.
