
Toyota Canada announced pricing for the 2025 bZ4X compact electric SUV and has added a lower entry cost if you want all-wheel drive.
You can now pick up the base LE model in all-wheel drive.
The starting Canadian manufacturer’s suggested retail price for the LE is $46,515, while the LE AWD model carries a $501 premium with an MSRP of $47,016.
The base LE is the only model with front-wheel drive. It has a powertrain with 201 hp and 196 lb.-ft. of torque and a driving range of 406 kilometres between charges.
The all-wheel-drive models features a powertrain with 107 hp of power front and back, producing a total system output of 214 hp and 248 lb.-ft. of torque. All-wheel-drive models have a driving range of 367 kilometres.
Besides the newly added LE AWD models, the higher-trim XLE models also get new technology.
For 2025, the XLE gets a steering wheel touch sensor system and front cross traffic alert and lane change assist.
The XLE Technology Package adds the traffic jam assist system for 2025.

“For 2025, we’ve enhanced the bZ4X lineup with a new LE AWD grade and added features to both XLE grades, making our first battery electric vehicle better than ever,” said Cyril Dimitris, vice president, Toyota Canada Inc., in a news release.
All 2025 bZ4X models get Toyota Multimedia and Toyota Safety Sense 3.0, plus dual-zone automatic climate control with an automatic air circulation control system, a heated and leather-wrapped steering wheel on a tilting/telescoping column, front centre console box, and more.
The LE model rides on 18-inch alloy wheels, plus features Toyota Multimedia with Service Connect, Safety Connect and Remote Connect and a 12.3-inch touchscreen display, a six-speaker audio system, one USB-A and two USB-C charging ports, Drive Mode Select and Snow drive mode, heated front seats with front radiant foot and leg warmer, and sport-fabric upholstery.
The LE AWD adds the all-wheel-drive system with an expanded Drive Mode Select system, featuring X-MODE (including Snow/Dirt, Deep Snow/Mud, and Grip Control modes), as well as multi-terrain select system, downhill assist control, and crawl mode.
The XLE AWD builds on the LE AWD grade with sport fabric and Softex upholstery, an auto-dimming rear-view mirror, fixed panoramic moon roof with shade, HomeLink garage door opener, a wireless charging dock, two additional USB-C charging ports (in the rear seat area), a cargo area tonneau cover, and Intelligent Clearance Sonar with rear cross traffic brake, plus the newly added features mentioned earlier, rear cross traffic alert and lane change assist.
The top-of-the-line XLE AWD Technology Package adds 20-inch alloy wheels, Toyota Multimedia with Service Connect, Safety Connect, Remote Connect, Drive Connect, and a 12.3-inch touchscreen display, a premium JBL audio system with nine speakers, full Softex upholstery, heated and ventilated power-adjustable front seats with front radiant foot and leg warmer, unique multi-LED headlamps, illuminated entry system, a kick sensor-equipped power back door for hands-free operation, a rear spoiler, roof rails, a panoramic view monitor, Advanced Park system, and a digital key, as well as the new for 2025 traffic jam assist.

- LE – $49,568 (MSRP of $46,515)
- LE AWD – $50,069 (MSRP of $47,016)
- XLE AWD – $54,898 (MSRP of $51,845)
- XLE AWD Technology Package – $62,883 (MSRP of $59,830)
Final pricing may vary as fees may differ by location.
The 2025 model is now on sale in Quebec and British Columbia. Toyota Canada did not announce when it would arrive in the rest of the country.
