2025 Nissan Armada is $20,000 cheaper than its Infiniti twin

The all-new full-size SUV is Nissan’s most expensive model in 2025, and yet is a relative bargain.

It’s a rare achievement for a thing to be the most expensive of something and yet be a bargain, but it could be said Nissan has achieved this feat.

Nissan Canada has announced pricing for the updated Armada, and even though the full-size SUV is becoming Nissan’s most expensive vehicle in 2025, it also happens to be a relatively a good deal.

The 2025 Nissan Armada has a starting manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $84,998. This doesn’t include fees or levies such as delivery charges. Tax is extra as well.

While that’s not cheap, it is about $20,000 cheaper than the Armada’s Infiniti twin, the also-new-for-2025 Infiniti QX80, which has a starting price of $104,995.

In fact, the Armada tops out at around where the QX80 starts, with the Armada’s most expensive trim starting at $105,998.

Readers should note that the current Armada isn’t Nissan’s most expensive vehicle in 2024.

That title belongs to the GT-R sports car, which is approximately twice the price, but that model is being discontinued after the current year, so as of 2025, the Armada will be Nissan’s most expensive vehicle available in Canada.

The 2025 Armada will be on sale starting in December.

The MSRP is as follows:

  • Armada SL – $84,998
  • Armada Platinum – $93,998
  • Armada PRO-4X – $94,998
  • Armada Platinum Reserve – $104,998
  • Armada Platinum Reserve Captain’s Chairs – $105,998

The new Armada is powered by a 3.5-litre twin-turbo V6 engine producing 425 hp and 516 lb.-ft. of torque, and has a towing capacity of 8,500 pounds.

The PRO-4X grade is new as well. It’s a more off-road capable model and features such things as an off-road information display with an inclinometer, slip indicator, and a steering angle indicator, as well as various visual enhancements inside and out.

The Platinum Reserve models are also getting ProPilot Assist 2.1, the automaker’s highway hands-off assistance technology.

Nissan Safety Shield 360 is standard across the entire range.

More information on the 2025 Armada is available on the Nissan Canada website.
